About Us
The Deccan Times
The Deccan Times was originally published in 1938 from Madras (now Chennai) by Naganachiketh Chinnamuttevi. It was an English weekly known for fearless journalism, in-depth analysis, and commitment to truth. The publication ceased in December 1950, but its influence on Indian media continues to be significant.
Our New Journey
In the digital era, we are reviving The Deccan Times as a modern, independent news platform. While we are inspired by the legacy of the original newspaper, this initiative is entirely new and not officially connected to the former publication.
We publish weekly news in both Hindi and English, ensuring accessibility for a diverse audience.
Our Mission
Our core values include:
- Independent & Unbiased Journalism
- Comprehensive News & Analysis
- Bridging History with Contemporary Issues
